My sister and I wanted to watch some BtVS on my laptop, but the DVD drive is broken, so Veoh is our only option. Only the first two seasons are up on Veoh. She wanted to watch something Giles-y, but not one we'd watched eight times already. Which pretty much ruled out everything but "Passion." So I said, "Do you want to watch 'Passion?'" Because I'm a masochist.
I have to read fanfic now.

ETA: I watched "Some Assembly Required" to deal with my "Passion" pain.
Goddamn, it still hurts. I cried. Giles and Jenny were so cute and sweet and in love and they're the best ship ever. God damn Angel. The chase scene was torture. And when he... you know... in front of the window; that shot is used in every retrospective fanvid, not to mention the credits of season 3, so I've seen it God knows how many times, but it still makes me cringe and curse Angel. And those stupid roses and the stupid opera - I hate that opera - and the stupid note, and the look on Giles' face when he gets to the top of the stairs... the first time I saw the episode I couldn't watch that at all, I covered my eyes. But my God, when Giles storms the warehouse that is just the most amazing thing ever. I'd forgotten how much he wailed on Angel. And then when Buffy pulls him out of the warehouse, but he pushes her away, and she socks him and they cry... I'm sorry Lorelei, that out-does the scene at the end of "Lie to Me" as the best Buffy and Giles scene ever. Then the scene at the cemetary made me cry (with that stupid gravestone with no dates and who the hell is this "Jennifer" person?), and then Willow coming into the classroom and saying she'll be filling in made me cry, and seeing Jenny's name plate on the desk (which got her name right, unlike the gravestone - "Jenny") made me cry. And that is just some of the best TV ever. So, yeah. I just had to get that all out.

That episode is so under-rated. I get that people don't care much for the monster of the week, but there are so many cute, snappy Scooby scenes. The grave-digging scene, Xander in the science lab, the "people don't want what's right in front of them" discussion, the Angel and Cordy vs. Buffy and Xander face-off, Xander and Buffy teasing Giles about practicing his "pick up lines". Charisma Carpenter is fantastic at screaming. I actually really liked how the football game was shot, with the low angle. And whatever else his flaws were, the dude who played Darryl was great at showing how much he missed the game, just by the look in his eyes. And, of course, the Giles/Jenny cuteness. I just love the look on his face as he steels himself to ask Jenny out. And then how gleeful he is when it gets a date. He skips! It's so cute!
Okay, I'm done now.

And I've only seen 'Passion' once, but it was enough. You're right--the chase scene is absolutely *brutal*. I was so proud of her for trying as hard as she did to get away. Pretty sure it made me tear up. Gah.
Anyway, just wanted to comment & thank you for your enthusiasm. :)
The thing with this show is that I just appreciate it more every time I watch it.
